Guard
Falling stars are heading for the hill. Stop them with rings of light and keep the lanterns lit.
How to play
Tap the sky and a light flies from the lighthouse and bursts into a ring where you tapped. Any star inside the ring stops. Keys: arrows move the light dot, Space sends it. P or Esc pauses.
Rules and score
A star stopped by your ring is 1 point. A stopped star bursts into a small ring too, and stars caught in that one are 2 points, so chains score double. A star that reaches the ground puts out the nearest lantern. There are six; when all are out, the game ends. Each wave brings more stars (7 in the first) falling faster, and you get five more lights than the wave has stars. At the end of a wave, each lit lantern adds 2 and each spare light 1. Every three waves, one lantern comes back on. Some stars split on the way down. A game is at most 6 minutes.
Tips
- Light takes time to fly. Tap where the star will be, not where it is.
- Aim at the middle of a group and let the chain do the rest.
- Lights are limited each wave, and spare ones score. Don't spend two on one star.
- Stop a splitting star high up, before it breaks into pieces.
FAQ
- Can I fire many lights at once?
