Planets
Drop planets into a bowl, merge matching ones, and grow them all the way to a sun.
How to play
Move left or right to aim, then tap or click to drop. On a keyboard, ← → aims, Space drops, Esc pauses. After a drop, the next planet is ready in half a second.
Rules and score
There are 10 kinds: meteor, moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus, Earth, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, sun. Only the five smallest are dropped, and smaller ones come more often. Two of a kind merge into the next kind. A new moon is 2 points, Mercury 4, and so on, doubling up to 256 for Jupiter and 512 for the sun. Two suns vanish for 1,024. If a planet stays above the line at the top of the bowl for more than 2 seconds, the game ends.
Tips
- Keep big planets together in one bottom corner and grow small ones on the other side.
- Sizes that sit next to each other in order merge in a chain.
- A merged planet gets bigger and pushes its neighbors. When the bowl is nearly full, fill gaps with small ones.
- There's no rush. Watch where a planet will roll before you drop it.
FAQ
- Does touching the line end the game at once?
- No. A planet just dropped or just merged is not checked for 1 second, and a planet must stay over the line for 2 seconds.
- What happens when two suns meet?
- Both disappear, leaving a lot of room in the bowl.
