Jam
Slide the stone blocks to clear a way, then get the glowing block out through the gate.
How to play
Drag a block to slide it. Blocks move only along their own line (side to side if they lie flat, up and down if they stand) and can't pass through others. On a keyboard, Tab chooses a block and the arrows move it. P or Esc pauses.
Rules and score
The board is 6×6 and blocks are 2 or 3 cells long. When the glowing block (2 cells, flat) reaches the gate on the right of the third row, the board is solved. Water keeps rising; you start with 45 seconds of room. Solving a board drains some: 10 s at first, less for later boards, down to 2 s (up to 60 s). Full water — game over. A solved board scores its blocks, and later boards have more of them (4 to 11 besides the glowing one).
Tips
- Start from the block in front of the glowing one, and work back: what must move so it can move?
- A tall 3-cell block has to leave the third row completely. Pick the side with room.
- You can slide a block several cells in one move.
- When you feel stuck, look again at a block you pushed far away. It's often the key.
FAQ
- Can a board be impossible?
- No. Every board is made by sliding back from a solved one.
- Is there a time limit?
- Besides the water, a game is at most 10 minutes.
