Lamps
Tap a lamp and it flips together with its neighbors above, below and to the sides. Turn every lamp off.
How to play
Tap or click a lamp. On a keyboard, choose with the arrows and flip with Space or Enter. P or Esc pauses. Tap the same lamp twice to undo it.
Rules and score
The dots under the board show the fewest moves that solve it. Every extra move uses one spare lamp (you start with 6, up to 9). Run out and the game ends. Solve a board in the fewest moves to get a spare back. A solved board scores its fewest-move number. Boards grow: 3×3 for boards 1–3, 4×4 for 4–6, 5×5 for 7–10, then 6×6. Every board can be solved.
Tips
- The order of taps doesn't matter, only which lamps you tap.
- Tapping a lamp twice is the same as not tapping it. Each lamp is tapped once or not at all.
- Work down row by row: if a lamp above is on, tap the one right below it. The pattern left in the last row tells you how to change the first row.
- Bigger boards score more. Save spare lamps for them.
