Wires
Connect each pair of matching terminals on the circuit board, and fill every cell with wire.
How to play
Drag from a terminal to its partner of the same color. On a keyboard, choose with the arrows and use Space to grab and release. P or Esc pauses. Tap a terminal to redraw its wire; tap the middle of a wire to keep it only up to there.
Rules and score
When every color is connected and no cell is empty, the board is done. Drawing across another wire cuts that wire. Boards 1 and 2 are 5×5; from board 3 they are 6×6. A finished board scores its cells (25 or 36). The battery starts at 45 seconds and drains. Finishing a board recharges it: 25 s at first, less for later boards, down to 5 s (up to 60 s). Empty battery — game over.
Tips
- Start with terminals on the edges and in the corners. They have fewer ways to go.
- Every cell must be filled, so sometimes even a close pair has to take the long way round.
- If a cell can't be reached by any color, redraw the wires around it.
- There's more than one answer. Any layout that connects all and fills all counts.
FAQ
- Can a board be impossible?
- No. Every board is made with at least one solution.
- Is there a time limit?
- Besides the battery, a game is at most 10 minutes.
